Tainá Magalhães dos Santos, Associate

Tainá graduated in law at the Universidade da Cidade – RJ (2007) and holds a postgraduation in Civil Procedural Law from Instituto Escola Superior em Aperfeiçoamento Profissional in partnership with Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro, graduation from Universidade Cândido Mendes – IESAP/OABRJ (2010).

Her career began in 2008 as a lawyer working in civil and procedural law, both in litigation and consulting.

Working as a maritime lawyer since 2011, she has routinely dealt with legal and administrative disputes involving owners and other players in this area.

Working in regulatory law since 2015, especially with regulation of Brazilian shipping companies in Brazil, she has worked as a lawyer at various companies in this sector.

  • Working on administrative procedures at National Waterway Transportation Agency - ANTAQ, concerning acquisition of grants and operation of vessels in Brazil.
  • Acting in arbitration in Brazil originated between owners and Brazilian shipping companies.

  • Consulting relating to Normative Resolution 72 National Immigration Council.
